Life happens, it’s okay…✨

Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans

Sometimes we have to change course, but we have to keep going. Time continues to move with or without you. To move forward, you cant stay stuck in the past or even the present. There’s always room to improve.

It’s okay to not have your life all figured out. It takes time and effort to notice significant growth or change. It doesn’t always happen overnight and it definitely doesn’t always happen when January 1st comes. We’ve developed this idea that positive change comes when we start a new year. While positive change can come out of a fresh start, that doesn’t necessarily mean a specific time of year. Prepare for that change the exact moment you know it’s needed. Don’t wait for the new year to begin something when you’re feeling at an all-time high because that high will come down when reality sets in. The months will go by, you’ll face new obstacles, and life will just happen. Instead of waiting, let each day be a fresh start and new beginning.

It’s okay if you don’t have a list of goals and resolutions written. It’s okay if you do have them written and have fallen short already. Again, life just happens. I wish we could know when we were going to have to face certain obstacles so that we could plan accordingly and more accurately but unfortunately we can’t. For 2018, I’d just like to improve my creativity and personal development for starters. This year is dedicated to personal development, learning new things, taking initiative, and growth. One way I’ve started this is by working hard on my blog this month and focusing on how I can stay consistent even when there is a disruption in life. (post on this soon)

I know I will be challenged. I expect to be and I know it won’t be easy, life is full of hardships. But I made it through all of last year’s hardships, learning valuable lessons in the end and got that extra push to be a better version of myself.

New posts are on the way. As always, live a life full of love.

I love that photo with the pink tone, in fact the colours and style of your blog in general is aesthetically pleasing. This is such a motivational piece to read and every now and again, you need to know that it’s ok to not be ok.
We are pushed to have it all as though by waking up and not goal ticking every second is a failure. When life doesn’t work that way. I love your goal on personal development. Something I am really pushing and aiming for as well. xx
